• Perform a variety of duties to deburr and blend surfaces on aircraft engine parts according to detailed instructions contained in operation sheets and overhaul manuals.
• Use appropriate abrasives, air guns, carbide drills, emery cratex, flat wheels, PSA discs, buffing and wire sheets, and diamond files as required for each operation.
• Set up and use holding devices such as rotary and hydraulic tables when necessary.
• Work from established practices and procedures to prepare parts for subsequent operations.
• Inspect work for conformance to quality standards and detect faulty operations or materials, reporting issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an aerospace environment preferred
• Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret manual instructions, blueprints, and operation sheets
• Excellent attention to detail, multitasking ability, and communication skills
