Sunny Days Sunshine Center is hiring part-time ABA & RBT Therapists to provide services to children on the autism spectrum as part-time employees (up to 29 hours per week).
We offer flexible schedules with afternoon, early evening, and/or weekend availability at our new state-of-the-art Sunshine Center in Vista, CA.
Job Description - Create a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for every individual
- Implement individualized applied behavior programming under the direction of a BCBA, including direct 1:1 ABA therapy
- Use basic principles of applied behavior analysis ABA such as: reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques
- Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills
- Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors
- Collect data on ABA programming targets and utilize an online system to enter, track, and view progress
- Provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to support strategies across all areas of the child's environment
Position Requirements - Associates or Bachelor’s Degree required
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT certified), or RBT in process, is a PLUS
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism using ABA methodologies (preferred)
- Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential
