We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our dynamic medical team . This essential role focuses on delivering prenatal and reproductive health care , while also serving as the Clinical Director for our Gender Affirming Care (GAC) Program .

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Comprehensive Patient Care : Document comprehensive health histories, including obstetric, gynecologic, gender identity, and family health backgrounds.
  2. Medical Services : Provide a wide range of services, including gender-affirming hormone therapy , family planning, abortion services, prenatal care, colposcopy, STD diagnosis, and infertility treatments.
  3. Physical Exams : Conduct exams focused on reproductive health , including cancer screenings , STI diagnosis, and other specialized tests.
  4. Service Oversight : Supervise the Gender Affirming Care service , ensuring strict adherence to medical guidelines.
  5. Clinical Guidance : Provide expertise and guidance in complex hormone therapy cases .
  6. Resource Management : Maintain and update the Gender Affirming Resources and Referrals Guide .
  7. Protocol Updates : Revise medical standards and protocols based on the latest evidence and research.

Additional Duties:

  1. Patient Care Goals : Contribute to patient-centered goals and objectives.
  2. Diagnostic Expertise : Provide and interpret diagnostic studies following established protocols.
  3. Collaboration : Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and management to evaluate and enhance health services.
  4. Direct Patient Care : Offer direct services, including hormone therapy, family planning, and medication abortion.
  5. Health Education : Provide instruction on topics like family planning, nutrition, sexual counseling, and health promotion.
  6. Community Collaboration : Partner with local health teams and organizations to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  7. Laboratory Oversight : Serve as the Laboratory Supervisor , when required.

*Current NYS license as a PA, NP, DO or MD; national certification preferred.

*A minimum of 1-2 year of Gender Affirming Care experience
