The Stanford Prevention Research Center (SPRC) is a consortium of renowned experts who are world leaders in investigating ways to prevent disease and promote health. Their work is focused on identifying the most practical, science-based solutions for addressing some of society's most pervasive and preventable health issues, such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions and to raise the standards of scientific investigation that matters for health. SPRC investigators are collaborating on numerous, long-term projects designed to translate research into effective ways to promote well-being at every stage of life.
The Hsing Lab at SPRC, led by principal investigator Dr. Ann Hsing, focuses on cancer epidemiology and prevention, Asian American health, and well-being research. The Hsing lab is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (CRCA) with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to assist the recruitment of participants for epidemiologic studies. The CRCA will work under the supervision of program managers and will serve as the primary point of contact for study participants. Key responsibilities include contacting potential participants to schedule in-person study visits at Stanford; obtaining informed consent from participants for the research study; guiding participants through their study visits, during which they will donate blood, urine, saliva, and other specimens, and take study surveys; and reviewing participant data to ensure completeness of the data collection. Fluency in Vietnamese, Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese, and/or Tagalog is preferred. The expected pay range for this position is $31.84 to $37.79 per hour.
