Job Description

Living Free Superstore in Haw River/Mebane, NC is looking for one Donations Pick-up Driver - box truck, to join our 20-person strong team. We are located on 506 W Center Street. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

No CDL or special license required, just a clean driving history!

• Plan each day to maximize number of pickups.
• Communicate with the Donors and Manager on pickups times and instructions.
• Assist in the pick-ups of donations.
• Load and Unload, sometimes heavy furniture, on/off the box truck and into the stores.
• Drive and maintain a Van style Box Truck.
• Assist in navigating daily routes to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect Box Truck daily for any maintenance issues and keeping it clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management.

Qualification

• Ability to bend, reach and stand for extensive periods of time.
• Must be able to move heavy furniture.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull.
• Ability to use given resources to help move furniture on/off the box truck and into the stores with safety in mind for employees and protection of donations.
• Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Must be friendly to customers/staff and show a willingness to help.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work 9-5:30pm on M-F or Tue-Sat.
