**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Location:** Ocala **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Experience Level:** Entry Level **Job Description** We are looking for an **Electrical Assembler** to join our team! In this role, you will assemble and install electrical components on fire trucks, ensuring all systems meet engineering specifications and quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Assemble under-dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components. + Program lighting systems according to engineering specifications. + Troubleshoot **12V DC** and **110V AC** circuits. + Test products to ensure performance meets specifications. + Read and interpret engineering specs to verify truck builds. + Perform functionality checks on air horns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, etc. + Identify and resolve quality issues. **Required Skills** + Knowledge of **electrical systems** , wiring, and blueprint reading. + Ability to understand both **12V DC** and **110V AC** circuitry. + Proficiency in using common hand tools and power tools (drills, screw guns). + Ability to read and use a **tape measure** for precise measurements. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. **Preferred Qualifications** + **1-2 years of automotive electrical experience** in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts. + Basic math skills and ability to communicate professionally. **Pay & Schedule** + **Starting Pay:** $16.50 per hour + **Shift:** Monday-Thursday, **5:30 AM - 4:00 PM** + **Overtime:** Available on Fridays and Saturdays + **Growth Opportunity:** Pay increases and level advancement once you convert to direct hire **Why Join Us?** + Competitive pay and benefits after direct hire + Work on industry-leading fire apparatus + Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
