We protect property rights through the careful examination of each property history to ensure they are free of liens and other title defects. Position Details – Escrow Officer

The Escrow Officer is a key position that is responsible for facilitating the hold and transfer of funds for real estates transactions by gathering necessary information and documents; and maintaining records and accounts. Specific job responsibilities include:

• Maintains files and documentation necessary for real estate transactions
• Prepares files per real estate contract and title commitment as well as any necessary escrow documents and other title-related documents
• Accurately manages the closing of residential real estate transactions 
• Protects customers’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Finalize all disbursements for real estate closings as required after each closing
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on occasion as needed.
• The ability to obtain a State of Wyoming Title Insurance License is required within your first 6 months of employment – the company will provide assistance if needed, if applicabable
• 1-3 years of previous experience in title insurance, lending, or real estate is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
• Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail.
• Dependability, strong work ethic and punctuality are a must.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment.
