**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** This position is located under the mill area and is responsible for processing cabinets before they are assembled. The role involves running wood pieces through a machine that cuts based on specifications. The candidate will then verify measurements using a tape measure, ensuring precision in inches. Once measurements are confirmed, the cabinets are taken to the assembly area, where candidates may be cross-trained. In assembly, candidates will drill and screw hardware into place. The role also requires operating a sanding machine to sand down the wood. **Responsibilities** + Run wood pieces through a machine to cut based on specifications. + Verify measurements using a tape measure in inches. + Transport cabinets to the assembly area after verification. + Participate in assembly by drilling and screwing hardware in place. + Operate a sanding machine to sand down wood. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using a tape measure. + Experience with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to perform heavy lifting. + General labor skills. + Reliability and ability to work overtime. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in carpentry or furniture assembly is a plus. + Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous. + Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction in inches. **Why Work Here?** This role offers room for growth for those showing initiative and dedication. The majority of employees are Spanish speakers, and candidates should be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment. Self-efficiency is expected, with the ability to assist others once tasks are completed. Initially, candidates will train on the first shift, then transition to a temporary second shift, working Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:15 pm, with potential overtime. Closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and back support are required as attire. **Shift Available** + Monday to Friday 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11:15pm + Must train on 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm for 2-3 weeks + Must work overtime during the week and Saturdays **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
