Job Description Johnson Controls is seeking 2 HVAC Controls Technicians for a 6-month contract to hire in the Gainesville area. This role involves programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC control systems across large commercial sites. Techs will travel to 1-2 locations per day, with assignments provided the day prior. JCI aims to keep travel local when possible. Start date is ~2 weeks post-offer (or sooner if no notice required). For the first 6 months, techs will use their own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at $0.70/mile). Upon conversion, a company vehicle is provided. This is a high-impact role on a growing team, ideal for someone with strong technical chops, great communication, and a commercial-only background.
