Industrial Electrician | Wayland, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and components in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using various testing devices and interpret schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals for system understanding and repair.
• Execute modifications and upgrades to existing electrical systems, machinery, and production lines.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to optimize performance and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and machinery
• Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor control circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA)

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in instrumentation and process control systems (e.g., PID loops, sensors).
• Experience with high-voltage (e.g., 4160V) distribution and equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
