Job Description
Description
For Garden’s Sake is a family-owned garden center and landscaping company, in operation since 1999. We are continually growing, and offer customers a one-stop shop for plants, landscape design/installation, and lawn maintenance services.
Working with us allows you to enjoy a beautiful, natural environment every day with teammates that want to see you shine. You’ll be given opportunities to train, learn, and grow to your greatest potential. We prioritize caring for our employees as much as our customers.
Plus, we have resident goats, chickens, and ducks!

This is a full-time position paying $50K+ salary plus commission (estimated $30K+ first year). We offer paid time off and holidays; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; matching 401k; reimbursement for CE credits towards Landscape Contractors’ License and renewal; discounts at the Garden Center; and work-life balance. Advancement opportunities available as we continue to grow.

Generate landscape designs utilizing AutoCAD, including softscaping, hardscaping, lighting, and drainage
Create design proposals and cost estimates for residential and commercial properties based on accurate field measurements and analyses

Requirements

Professional industry experience creating landscape and hardscape designs
Knowledge of horticultural materials suitable for North Carolina and proper planting techniques
Strong understanding of landscape construction products, methods, and procedures, including softscapes, hardscapes, grading, drainage, irrigation, and lighting
Proficiency in AutoCAD; additional experience with Adobe Suite or 3D modeling programs a plus
Tech/computer proficiency and willingness to learn; familiarity with Google Suite and LMN estimating software a plus
Proven proficiency in increasing sales through lead generation and client relationships
Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor with a natural ability for cultivating positive relationships
Strong willingness, drive, and proactive approach to reach and exceed individual and company goals
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
