- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Worksite Location: Hartford, CT - Hybrid
- Compensation: $40-45/hr W2
What you’ll do as the Marketing Project Manager: - Drive the day-to-day management of multiple marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless communication and integration across teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and actively manage project plans and timelines in partnership with channel leads, working teams, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate resources to meet deadlines, delivering high-quality marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
- Set and maintain clear objectives, deliverables, and deadlines, adapting to changing project needs as required.
- Proactively identify risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when necessary to keep projects on track.
- Communicate deliverables, priorities, and project status to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and securing required resources.
- Lead cross-functional meetings, foster collaboration, and maintain alignment across all teams involved.
- Manage marketing projects across channels including creative, digital, print, video, media, and events.
What you’ll bring to the Marketing Project Manager role: - Proven ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns and creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing end-to-end project timelines with clear deliverables and assumptions.
- Strong skills in scope and change management, risk mitigation, and problem-solving.
- Intermediate experience with creative, digital, and event-based marketing projects.
- Ability to review project briefs for clarity, ask critical questions, and guide teams toward effective solutions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across teams.
- Self-starter with a positive, proactive mindset who can work independently while knowing when to escalate issues.
- Composure under pressure and adaptability in dynamic situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 2+ years of project management experience required; Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a marketing or advertising setting preferred.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Workfront preferred, but experience with Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet is valuable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools like Teams.
- PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications a plus.
