Job Description

**Responsibilities** **Nutrition Assistant II - Nutrition Services** Do you have a passion for helping others achieve their health goals? Are you a friendly and communicative individual with strong computer skills? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nutrition Assistant II to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients on their journey to optimal health and well-being. Responsibilities: + Provide exceptional customer service: + Greet patients warmly, answer questions, and address concerns with empathy and professionalism. + Assist with patient intake: Gather patient information, including dietary history and health concerns. + Schedule appointments and manage patient records + Utilize our electronic health record system to efficiently manage patient data and appointments. + Prepare and maintain patient education materials: + Create and distribute materials on nutrition topics, recipes, and meal-planning strategies. + Collaborate with registered dietitians: + Assist with data entry, meal planning, and other tasks as assigned. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Qualifications** + Two (2) years food service experience. + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Fire Safety card within 90 days of employment This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. **Overview** Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit community hospital located in Northridge, California.
