**Plow Truck Driver**

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Snow Plow Driver to join our team for the winter season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas using snow plow trucks and related equipment. This role is critical to maintaining safe and accessible conditions during inclement weather.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate trucks with a snowplow attached and other snow removal equipment (e.g., salt spreaders, skid steers, shovels).
• Clear snow and ice from assigned commercial areas
• Apply salt or other de-icing materials as needed.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow events, often during early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hoursworked.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding route completion and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• Clean and Valid driver’s license

• Previous experience operating snow plow equipment or heavy machinery is preferred.

• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Availability for on-call work during snow events, including nights and weekends.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual snow removal tasks when necessary.

Work Schedule:

• Seasonal position (typically November through March).
• On-call availability required during snow events.
• Flexible hours depending on weather conditions.
