THE ROLE: QUALITY SPECIALIST
Our Temporary Quality Specialist works within the OLLY Quality team to document and track production, specifications, change controls, investigations and CAPAs and is a key member of our growing team. This role is integral in ensuring OLLY has the best-in-category quality management systems to support our growing customer base! This role reports into the Senior Quality Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Collaborate with supplier quality teams to help investigate consumer complaints, and track and trend any potential issues that may need CAPA issuance
+ Support management and development of contract manufacturers' quality organizations with a focus on co-packers
+ Provide support for co-packers during trials and first production runs
+ Help ensure processes are maintained to support innovation and commercialization projects
+ Hold and release product as necessary and ensure holds and releases are reflected correctly in the OLLY ERP system and properly documented.
+ Create deviations to support day to day functions, as needed
+ Maintain quality databases including: tracking of production lots, stability studies, test results, quality investigations and controlled documents
+ Continue to improve current OLLY SOPs, and Work Instructions while ensuring compliance to OLLY standard
+ Support the maintenance of product specifications by cross functional collaboration
+ Partner with other functions like R&D, Supply Chain, and RA to ensure timely QA deliveries
+ Provide support to the OLLY Quality team to ensure business continuity
+ Contribute to our culture and make life at Camp OLLY better for us all
CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
+ 3-5 years experience in a dietary supplement or food manufacturing environment within quality assurance (Dietary Supplement experience will be prioritized)
+ Working knowledge of 21 CFR 111 and 21 CFR 117.
+ BS Degree in a science related discipline (Biology, Nutrition,Food Science, Regulatory Science or other closely related discipline)
+ Ability to partner within and across departments to achieve quality requirements and ensure compliance.
+ Strong computer skills in business technology platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, other enterprise applications)
+ Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written, resulting in clear and concise communication both with internal and external audience.
+ Analytical and critical thinker with a "can do" attitude
+ Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
+ Enjoyable to sit next to on a five hour flighty
+ PCQI and/or HACCP certified, preferred
THE DETAILS
LOCATION: Remote, USA
HOURS: 40 hours per week, non-exempt
MANAGER: Supplier Quality Manager
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
DURATION: August-December 2025
The pay range for this position is $34-41/hour dependent on experience.
