Salary: $85,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product support or product development.
• Strong skills in testing with substantial hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Experience in component-level circuit analysis or design.
• Familiarity with engaging electronics and electro-mechanical component suppliers.
• Knowledge of graphical coding or visual-based programming.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our technical services team to identify, investigate, and resolve product issues in the field.
• Work alongside product design engineers to ascertain root causes and rectify product complications.
• Partner with design engineers and suppliers to establish production test methods and equipment.
• Configure firefighter air replenishment systems for specific installation sites using graphical coding.
• Engage globally with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, firmware developers, product management, and manufacturing operations throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with external suppliers, approval agencies, and design partners.
• Primarily work in-office with the flexibility to occasionally work from home as necessary.

At Johnson Controls, we are on the lookout for an Electronics Product Support Engineer to join our Fire Suppression Electronics team at our R&D Facility in Cranston, RI, or Marinette, WI. Our engineering teams are dedicated to the design, development, certification, and ongoing support of fire protection products aimed at life safety and property loss prevention. You will be involved in supporting existing products for automated fire detection and control systems in heavy-duty off-road mining vehicles, commercial kitchens, and firefighter air replenishment systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hiring salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000, determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.
